You'd probably have a lot better luck posting flyers. Your flyer should say something like VOCALIST seeks musicians ages ?-? for new band. Include your musical influences, contact information, and any other info you think is relevant. Post 'em everywhere....school, record/cd stores, music instrument stores, etc.
